This two-bedroom converted chapel sleeps four in Stoke St Milborough, near Ludlow. It is a comfortable base for countryside walks, family holidays and exploring the Shropshire Hills.

Ten-metre cable
The charger is mounted on the side of the chapel, with a ten-metre lead reaching the driveway.
Hypervolt specifies a maximum rated output of 7.4 kW AC for the Home 2.0 model. The rate your car receives depends on its onboard charger, battery conditions and the electrical installation. This is a destination charger for use during your stay, rather than a rapid DC charging point.
Arriving in an electric car
Park on the driveway and use the attached charging cable to connect your car, following your vehicle’s instructions and the guidance provided at the chapel. Charging at your accommodation gives you time to settle in, have supper or plan the following day’s outing.
Check that your vehicle accepts a Type 2 AC connection. You do not need a separate charging cable to use our tethered unit with a compatible car. If you are unsure about compatibility or parking, contact us before booking.
For your journey to Shropshire, check charging stops using your vehicle’s route planner or a current charging map. Plan any essential en-route stops separately from charging at the chapel.

St Milburga Chapel combines the character of a former chapel with a practical base for a self-catering holiday. With two bedrooms and space for four guests, it suits couples and families exploring Ludlow and the surrounding countryside.

EV charging questions
Is EV charging free for guests?
Yes. There is no additional charge for using the chapel’s EV charging point during your stay.
Which charger is installed?
We have a Hypervolt Home 2.0 with a tethered Type 2 connector and a ten-metre cable. It is on the side of the chapel, accessible from the driveway.
How long will my car take to charge?
This depends on how much energy you need to add and the charging rate your vehicle accepts. The Home 2.0 model is rated at up to 7.4 kW AC, but actual output can be lower. We cannot promise a particular charging time or a full battery by a specific departure time.
Can I charge a plug-in hybrid?
A plug-in hybrid that accepts Type 2 AC charging can use the connector. Check your vehicle handbook; some plug-in hybrids charge at a lower rate than fully electric cars.
